Who Am I? Why Am I Doing This?
The answers lie herein...
I have lived in Mandeville all my life. I played soccer and earned a black belt in TKD (MKTC). I graduated in December 2005 from Southeastern Louisiana University (SLU) with a bachelor's degree in Entrepreneurship. Now, I am working full-time for Latter & Blum Realtors, inc.
Here's my dancing story: I began dancing as a Sophomore in college. A family friend told me that her daughter taught dancing locally, so I went. I immediately fell in love with the different dances and the social freedom they afforded me.
I subsequently began a club at SLU: the Southeastern Swing Dance Club, SDC for short. I really wanted to practice more often and I also wanted to share my love of ballroom dancing with others.
I was, soon after, recruited on the board of directors for the United States Amateur Ballroom Dancers' Association (USABDA). I have been working with them ever since. In addition to those involvements, I also plugged myself into the MHS SDC. I help out and really enjoy myself there. The group of SDC members enjoy what they do so much, that it's a great pleasure to be around them.
Now, I want people who are close to my home, to enjoy dancing as much as I. So, here's my answer...
